Standard groups are open to everyone. Any txtGroups user can join an open group at any time. This kind of group can be used for things like teacher-student communication or business applications such as customer relations.
Private groups allow the owner to regulate who is able to join the group. When a potential member tries to join the group, the owner is notified of the request and given an authorization code. If the group owner sends the authorization code back to 89847, the join request is approved and the user becomes a member of the group.
Your txtGroups have no time limit, you can keep them for only a few hours or as long as you want. Because creating a group is quick and easy, it's a perfect tool for keeping people connected during events and parties.
